Building Official/Inspector for the Hilliard Town Limits

THE TOWN OF HILLIARD is currently requesting proposals from qualified applicants for the position of Building Official/Inspector for the Hilliard Town Limits. This is an as needed contract position, which does not include benefits and will require your own transportation with valid Florida Drivers License. Must have a current Building Code Administrator/Inspector License issued from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations.

The Building Official/Inspector ensures development proposals comply with building codes and ordinances, regulations and standards set forth by the Florida Building Code and other regulatory agencies. The inspector reviews building plans and oversees the Town permit issuances process performing prompt and thorough inspections at the various stages of construction.

Proposals along with resume and qualifications may be submitted to the Town Clerk’s Office located at 15859 West County Road 108, Hilliard, Florida from 9am until 5pm Monday through Friday. Deadline for proposals is Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 5pm. The Town of Hilliard is an equal opportunity employer.
